Fundraising question / Is this illegal ….?

I would like for things like aspca or just keep the money money. This fundraiser businesses like Buy a minimum of like 8 boxes! i dont want that much! Can I just buy a big box such as sized Hershey's or something, there is the chocolate bar? Is this illegal?

You can go to Sam's or Costco, and (I know, do it on Saturdays, I would assume any Costco as well) they should a field called donation box in the candy section. It's like $ 20 and comes with many bars. You can sell them and make what you want (or buy the separate boxes or individual bars in a grocery store). If you say you raise money for a cause you should give some money to that cause, but it is unlikely check someone. It is fraud if you do not, but you have to get caught.
