Am looking for a way to help my Aunt who has breast cancer but does not want to ask for help. She has lost her job because she is to sick to go back to work and her husband is also disabled. how can I help rise money for her so she don’t lose everything she own and worked for all her life . She is 61 years old. in her 2nd kemo treatment first time did not work. please help
You’re sweet for wanting to help your aunt. There are many ideas for fund raisers. For example, you could have a benefit for her at a local establishment. Many times, friends can donate the food (i.e. a hog roast, burgers, brats, etc.), many djs will donate their time for causes such as this, you can have friends and family members clean out their closets and you can have a silent auction (even better, ask all local businesses to donate products and services to be auctioned off, too). Just make lots of phone calls. I’m sure you can find a gym, a bar, a dance hall, a vfw, etc. that will donate their space for your benefit. The best of luck to you!
