Help with fundraising?
This summer I had people on a mission trip to Guatemala with my youth group are going to cost around $ 1200 I am also People Student Ambassador trip to Australia, I think the break will end up costing me about $ 5000 and then in the spring, my French class, and that France would cost $ 1,800 – $ 2,300 This is about $ 9000 I have on my own to raise! [Well, I'm sure my parents are in a small field, but now say they are, that I have to do everything myself] and I need some good ideas on how to make it. I know I do things like Bakesale, but I do not know how to get started on something. Can you please explain how you get started and how much I will with every fundraiser you do belong? Thank you! Oh, and if I go and ask for donations from businesses, what kind of company would be best to ask, How do I ask? Thank you!
All that to you for a bake sale is not to find a position (we usually have in our own Wal-Mart parking lot is – but do not have high traded), advertising (newspaper, flyers, radio) and get friends / family / church bakery . Donate I've found that if you explain to your customers what you are collecting money for and ask them to donate, think what they should, instead, the money amounts of baked goods do this one. A fundraising idea that working a little longer, but a good money maker is a joint exercise for sale have. Put up flyers and let churches know that With a community for sale (Comprehension) and would like to take all supplies that people want to get rid of (which they had opened in a garage). People are usually happy to get that stuff away from their hands and you end up with a much larger sale than if you were just going through the sale of your unwanted Elements. If you find a place to free the sale (like your church or community center have) it is a profit of any fundraiser – you just have to spend the time to to organize and execute the sale. Some people go to garage sales almost like a sport, I would suggest all the elements of quantities (as opposed to the bake sale), so You do not get taken advantage of. If you ask companies for money call ahead and ask for a time to meet with the Mangager / owner personally. People are busy and do not like walk-ins, but you better luck if you can talk to the person face to face. Tell them how much you $ $ need, how much you have already mentioned, what for, as your future plans (college applications, preparing for work helps in the ministry, etc.), and how much it would mean if they could help. Also open to donations of goods instead of $ $ and you can for a raffle than another fundraising idea to use.
